Actually now that I think about it the double standard is even worse than I thought. Anne’s position is that she gets to insist on never needing help 100% of the time, and any suggestion from Robin that she might be helpless and needing rescue 1% of the time makes Robin a chauvenist male…. while Robin must be content with being helpless 100% of the time and always being the damsel in distress, and he’s not even allowed to want to be able to defend himself 1% of the time, he must be content to ALWAYS be helpless, or else he’s a chauvenist male. So she gets to insist on 0% helplessness, but he doesn’t even get to insist on a percentage as low as 99%. Insidious standard there.
You do realize that Anne’s not thinking clearly right? WAAAAAAAAY back when everyone was getting their memories back from Miranda’s editing, her pride jumpstarted her own personality so that when she recombined with Anne, she’d eventually become the dominant part. We’ve been seeing Anne acting weird in flashes, but it’s building to a head. The double-standard is Pride shoving apart Anne’s rationality.

Yeah, she’s clearly under some sort of weak, indirect mind control
Who’s this mysterious protector? I thought he was another villain, about to capitalize on ms.Onymous’ moment of weakness
He reminds me of Edward Verres from EGS… and not just because of his looks; he’s got this kind of job, too.
