Freya is acting less like a ruthless hunter and increasingly acting like an idiot.
Perhaps in addition to planting her in Jason’s head they’re affecting her rational thinking.
And here is where Anne discovers that Freja is a patron of seidr-magic. Or just why you shouldn’t try to beat gods with magic.
That explains why Jason got turned into her, then. He’s no stranger to satyr magic.

The roots suggest it’s a red or fire-like gem/ring/necklace. I don’t think she’ll get a better description than that.

There are a few versions of the tale of the Brisingamen. But they do all have one piece in common: Twas Loki who stole it from Freya.
And thus we understand who Freya thinks she is fighting. 😉
