Well t’s pretty obvious, King Lycos is also known as King Lycaon. According to the legend he pissed of Zeus by serving him (aka offering as a sacrifice) the flesh of a child (depending on the legend, sometimes one of his own sons)
According to the legend, Zeus got mighty pissed off and transfomed him and all of his sons (he had a lot) into wolves. Thus founding lycantropy.
The first of her kind is noone else but King Lycos, aka herself, and she must have one big huge awesome morph version!
You think Loki and Hermes would LOVE gate crasher and ENCOURAGE THEM! And the guards would HAPPILY let him through!
