I think now Hermes is going to show his stuff. While we’ve seen Loki’s attitude and tricks, we haven’t seen much of Hermes. It seems Hermes still remember their end goal of restoring their kind from the edge of oblivion (even if Hermes shows a surprising bit of intolerance towards deities outside of his family like when he meets the furry goddesses (who appear to embrace what they’ve become utterly and completely)). While we know Anne is destine to win by virtue of being the protagonist and it would be far too much of a cheat to deny her her confrontation with Xaos… I can’t help but wonder if Hermes, being a greek god, would have overwhelming respect for fate, and thus have Anne’s win being PART of his plan to reincarnate the gods.
Claws, extended flexibility, improved senses… Why *NOT* be in cat mode through a fight that requires as much physical talent of dodging as much as magic?
I maintain that this IS an interesting story. It is suffering from infrequent updates that make it drag. I like the story and the artwork (especially the artwork!).
You could try going through the archives again. (I’d recommend “Blue Moon Refelctions” *blush*) And re-read this one, too. Keeping up to date with a web comic isn’t for everyone. Some like the story all at once, where its pace can be whatever you want it to be.
EOiNA has been a decent story. And it’s picked up a great deal since the rather confusing (to me) opening. I’m enjoying it thoroughly now, and have for the past couple months. And I agree with Noman; I miss “original Anne art”, but what we’ve been getting has been excellent.

Hermes is the god of trade, heraldry, merchants, commerce, roads, thieves, trickery, sports, travelers, and athletes in Ancient Greek mythology. He's also trying to bring about the rebirth of the Greek and Norse pantheons of gods.

Hmm, now is that Golden Apple the Golden Apple of Discord from the Illiad, or is it the Golden Apple of Immortality from Norse myth?
It’s the Brass Apple of Bonking Against Peoples’ Heads when you Throw It
Brass Monkey, the funky monkey

Who said it can’t be both one and the same?
Hermes, you fool! You cannot use a tool of chaos against one imbued with the power of chaos.
Hermes ISN’T stupid, so what is he up to?
Oh, you absolutely can. It’ll just amplify all the chaos crazy to an unbelievable level, possibly over 9000.
Why IS Anne still in cat mode?
She’s been brawling with Loki the whole time, so maybe she doesn’t want to take the time to change back?
Because this is a transformation comic and people like cat girls?
Claws, extended flexibility, improved senses… Why *NOT* be in cat mode through a fight that requires as much physical talent of dodging as much as magic?
The comic is based on real events (with the names changed, of course) and the real-life girl didn’t change back.
How many more comics until we move onto a more interesting story?
Tact is helpful in these situations.

Weren’t we told we’d get our second page of the month on the 23rd?
We have been deceived!
(I suspect it will be up sometime tomorrow though. We’ll still get our quota for the month.)
The Wotch is an agent of Chaos, and cannot be constrained by such mundane things as mortal calendars.
