Come to think of it, 400 lbs per arm would still be ridiculous. That said, just eyeballing the link thickness relative to Wolfie’s arms, I’m pretty sure those chains are in the 3/16″ to 1/4″ range.
Do factor in that Rob has to draw the chains large enough so that they’re visually parseable. I wouldn’t take the thickness they “appear to be” as a measurement.
Fun fact: Given the thinnest links of the crappiest grade of steel commercially available at the time (and keeping in mind that 1/8″ links are a recent addition to this chart), Wolfie would have had to exert in excess of 880 lbs in each arm to break those chains…
