At this point? I don’t feel any shock anymore. Because there’s been too many bait and switches for Loki’s plan at this point.
I mean whether or not we’re seeing the effects of Loki’s plan or not.
Miranda didn’t attack them lethally, so at least she still knows this is training and not spartan training. AGAIN assuming that is ISN’T another bait and switch and turns out NOT to be related to Loki’s scheme at all. Heck, maybe Loki and his bud decide NOT to enact their plan, and the entire story is about baiting and switching us. It wouldn’t the strangest thing done in web comics.
Well, we know she isn’t just horsing around with them. Oh, that was a bad pun and I couldn’t stop myself.

So, I do have a question, and mabey I just missed a memo, BT why is everything gritty realistic now? I actually didn’t mind the shift earler with the more pronounced carcercers, but I can barely tell who’s who now, not to mention a close call to the uncanny valley. I still love this story, and will probably continue to read it, but, please tell me this is a gest artist!
Sadly no, it isn’t. I preferred the simplistic style too. (I felt it was evolving and growing as the series went on). But the creators say this is the style now.

I wonder where you get the outfit. xena have a sale. There is not ‘centaurs r us’ store. and is there any male centaurs? I know the girl at the kwik mart or what ever is a centaur. relationship are hard. a centaur makes it harder.
I’m sorry, but this is too funny and now I REALLY wanna know what happened? How did she change into a centaur? Why? Why hasn’t she changed herself back? Why does she look like Xena if Xena were to be born a centaur? (though, I think in the Xenaverse, the centaurs are all male.) Where is Arizona? And for the love of everything, why is her tail braided? Can’t wait for this week’s update! Keep up the good work.
(PS: it’s so much easier for me to tell everyone apart now. Thank you so much. My poor vision was making it hard before, but the features are more defined so I can see!)
As to that last question: a braided tail is neater, and it doesn’t get tangled up.
The more important question is, who braided it for her? Even with maximum flexibility, it’s awfully hard to braid your own tail. 7@=e
Hope things are going well with both artist and writers. Seems forever since the last update.
Hmmm…. There’s something about the way this new artist draws Miranda that makes her look… different somehow… But I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Maybe at the end they’ll be able to create a parallel universe where these changes stayed in place. Assuming Loki’s plan ever actually happens.
And now, too much smudge shading on the noses. Looks like they’re literally dirty.
I do remember now a fanart pinup of Miranda as a topless centaur, posing for a photo she presumably sent to a lover (but kept a framed copy) And the current Miranda turning red and trying to snatch that incriminating photo out of we the viewer’s hands.
I don’t hate the idea of considering that scene canon in the slightest! ^_^
