It’s been doing that since June, and so far we haven’t been getting any news on whether it will ever be resolved.
Are you referring to “The Display Name or Email Address you entered does not belong to any account. Make sure that it is typed correctly.” Since invisioncommunity.com uses PHP and MySQL as does WordPress, it sounds solvable. The first thing to do is to check how WordPress and Invision define the link to the MySQL database. Check the login information used (MySQL connection string, account name, and password) for both of the systems. If they are using different account names for the two systems, make sure that permissions are set correctly. It may be that one of the PHP applications needs the MySQL information used by the other. Get the configuration files for the two systems and compare them. I could probably provide more assistance if I had more information. It also sounds like one of the packages needs better information.

No, I’m referring to the thing ijuinkun mentioned. I can login just fine (in fact, I AM logged) but when I go to any forum page, I get “Sorry, there is a problem

I see that Miranda is going to show up in Melvin. Since Rose Tyler was also metioned at the same time I wouldn’t be suprized that the Doctor shows up.

I wonder how some of the fans would have told what happened next, anyone on DA care to give it a try?
I’ve some “who/what if” questions for the gang, both Wotchers and Staff. The idea is to start up conversation and hopefully revive the comic.
1. What would it take, if anything, to get The Wotch to posting a coherent story on a once/week basis?
2. What level of support would it need to reach that once/week posting?
3. Who would the artist/artists be? The writers?
4. What can we, the Wotchers do to get The Wotch jumpstarted? Are there enough Wotchers to do that?
A lot of you know me and my various ‘contributions’ to the web comic industry. I’ve been on COVID layoff since March 2020, but it looks like it may finally be coming to an end. When/If that happens, I want to help with the jumpstarting effort. I cannot do it alone, nor can I do it if there’s no-one on the Staff side.
Let’s start up the talk, guys! Answer these questions and/or ask some of your own. Let’s get The Wotch going again!
