It’s a very different style. Anne’s style is more static and minimalist, kinda like Dan Shive’s early style for El Goonish Shive. Ian’s style is much more dynamic and less “realistically” proportioned. The change takes some getting used to, but I don’t think it’s fair to call Ian’s art “worse” than Anne’s. It’s just different.
Me, I’m just glad someone was willing and able to step up and commit to keeping this comic going. The long-term arc deserves to reach a proper conclusion.
Did you switch to a new artist or something? Because the new art from the last half of last chapter and this one are… urg.
Annie stopped drawing the comic for a while during the last arc due to IRL issues. Ian took over somehow with help from Robin at some point.
