One has to bear in mind an ongoing theme of this comic is Annie and her associates riding roughshod over the lives of those around them with little to no consideration other than “meh, they’re better this way” or “its for thier own good” Aided by the fact that in one or two cases, lives were ACCIDENTALLY improved.
The problem is how Anne is so chipper about it. ‘Where they belong’, reminds me way too much of other ‘put them in their place.’ Rather than being a sad, but unescapable conclusion that Anne had no choice in to save her friends, it’s treated as ‘good riddance to bad rubbish’… Several innocent newer gods were brought into being, and now sealed away for the crime of existing, most completely unaware of WHY they’re being punished!
I feel 9/10 certain that it ain’t over yet. There’s something obvious we’ve all overlooked, and that cough portends someone or something still not in the container.
That throat-clearing has to be Freya having NOT separated from Sonja’s body because she’d become enough of an individual to cry out to her in the first place, doesn’t it?
She was in the right place, we know the werewolf progenitor is in the pithos, and it’s obvious by the reaction that that’s either a mythic or the Wicked West of the Wotch calling her to task, and the latter is unlikely because why would Chiron have followed them in the first place?
I wonder how many innocent new gods got sealed in there, the overwhelming majority have no idea they were being born inside someone else’s body… And are sentenced to be trapped in a tiny urn along with the rest for the crime of existing.
side bar. Is John Lotsha on accidental centaur still posting. He owe me artwork from commissioned that began at 2013, at times. I think he is ignoring me. I could go into greater detail. But I do not want nor should this be a flaming email.
“All back where they belong.” There is something incredibly disturbing about those words. That smile on her face just makes it more disturbing.
Probably the near-certain fact that she’s wrong?
Back in their prison for all eternity! Muahahahaha! Tartarus missed you all!
But yeah, Anne’s totally a villain, where she knows it or not. XD
Well they DID take over some peoples’ bodies without permission. That is kinda rude.

Responsibility is kryptonite.

New gods? which ones? As far as I’m aware, all of the new faces were established myths.
To solusandra. It was established with the furry goddesses that they were new gods rather than ancient gods.
Robyn!Venus going back to her normal form is an absolute tragedy. Robyn!Venus was more fun than Robin in just about every way.
Well, that was . . . anticlimactic.

Glad to see the update
Next page: after separating the townsfolk from the mythical beings, she realizes she accidentally stuck all the townsfolk in the jar by mistake.
Hey, Robin Ericson’s 200th comic appearance! That’s a nifty little milestone.

No gods, no masters. Isn’t that what kids these days say?
okay. so they all are back in the jar. the good and the bad. Ultimate cosmic power. Etty Bitty living space.

Another happy ending with absolutely no consequences.
Maybe she loses her own powers too in this process? Unlikely I know. Still it might make sense.
“Another happy ending with absolutely no consequences.”
Well, it is the Wotch.
Gotta say, her new costume’s hideous.
Ugh, finally on the home stretch of this boring storyline. Here’s hoping the next one is much more entertaining.
Wait, Samantha Wolf is no longer werewolf despite this having nothing to do with the chaos storm?
