Plus, the people, who hang out there are likely to be just the kind of people who wouldn’t mind hanging out with these guys to begin with. So they were trying to change The Wotch, but it seems she’s immune for some reason, is it because as trickster gods their magic is based on chaos, and the Wotch’s power both protects and keeps the reigns on chaos?
1500 years… plot his revenge. What? So he had trouble with the last Wotch? Isn’t revenge by Proxy… okay, the greek gods were known for being the opposite of forgiving, but it feels… to lack style and pizazz on Loki’s part, a Norse god.
So she’s gonna hunt for Anne because she might nominally have her pendant? The Norse gods were brutal, but they weren’t stupid.
‘To have her say’, so are Loki and Hermes basically feeding everyone scripts? But that doesn’t explain why Robin was able to see the memories of the goddess and explicitly said he was resisting HER, not Hermes or Loki.
Or did Loki mean revenge on the goddess Sonja is now the reincarnation of?
‘Only a matter of time’ Loki, you’re supposed to be clever, if it didn’t work the FIRST time, why should it work the SECOND time?
And what are the ‘piece of chaos’ they’re hoping to reunite?
And how did Loki know their unseen benefactor? And wouldn’t Loki logically know if it was a servant of Xellos who was USING THEM as another ‘learn fast or die’ trial for Anne? Loki WROTE THE BOOK on manipulating and using others, trying to con the god of all con-artists is the opposite of cunning (which Xellos and his servant most decidedly are.
i believe the Comic implies Loki finds Revenge to be a Bonus, not a Goal, he and Hermes just want their Godly powers back. which presumably are gone due to either a lack of worshipers or the interference of a Wotch/whatever the order half was.
So the poor souls afflicted by their magic are nothing more than puppets. These gods are going to learn that the friends of the wotch are nobody’s playthings.
Evil is a matter of perception. Anne has every sane reason to oppose them. But if people think the best way to live is to just accept things as they are or the way things are going, then nothing would progress.
“Normally, I’ve got nothing against you gods of mischief. Heck, I’m the magical embodiment of chaos, so we could have even been friends. Instead you’ve chosen to take everyone I love from me, so know that I will show you no mercy.”
Loki said “for some irritating reason the Wotch wasn’t changed”. From what we know, Wotches are nigh-immune to any transformation that would un-Wotch them (e.g. a Wotch can not become fully male, as seen in the “Adventures in Babysitting” story).
the artwork is done and with Robin. I did it first thing after I got back from holiday. Caused me some problem with my own comic, but I got it done on time.
Hermes is the god of trade, heraldry, merchants, commerce, roads, thieves, trickery, sports, travelers, and athletes in Ancient Greek mythology. He's also trying to bring about the rebirth of the Greek and Norse pantheons of gods.
SYMPOSIUM!

Anne, force of Chaos, was recognized as Eris, and she didn’t change. That could mean she’s immune. But it could also be something else.
Gotta love random interruption to villain scheme scenes.

Which makes no sense since Robin said ‘her memories.’ And Cassie wouldn’t have given them that prophecy that helped them figure out who the enemy is.
— The Gods Must Be Lazy —
The Hunt Begins!
No, the Hunt is Nigh!
The Hunter Wins?
Maybe, Hunt Or Die?
‘Tis a difficult thing,
To coin a phrase,
Out loud speaking,
As sword you raise.
The Gods stare down,
Upon their game.
They Judge and frown,
At phrases lame.
Yet immortals persist,
With plans devine.
They seek to twist,
Fate’s threaded twine
They’ll tamper with,
The chaotic prime,
Once lost to myth,
Shall return in time.
They think mankind,
Nought but a speck,
Yet gods too unwind,
At the discotheque.
Woo,
Hoo!
🙂
And we have our first Ka-girl contestant to this mix. Well, let’s hope he make for a really cutie or a hottie!
He’s so hammered he’ll love it.
The evil these deities bring upon the minds of our heroes makes me sick. My claws and war mallet go out against them!

Indeed…
That’s probably the exact thing motivating Xaos, actually.
“Normally, I’ve got nothing against you gods of mischief. Heck, I’m the magical embodiment of chaos, so we could have even been friends. Instead you’ve chosen to take everyone I love from me, so know that I will show you no mercy.”
So both sides have everything to lose.
This is the first part of a cameo that was pledged by one of our Patreons! More on him in two weeks!
And two days… and counting.

I miss Sampleguy. And Ian S. And Anne doing art, too.
