Bad boys need to be schooled.
It’s their game and their rules.
Rules? I’m not sure what is funnier: Loki playing by rules or avatar of chaos doing that.
To reference the Marvel version of Loki, it’s chaos for his gain, not its own sake. A means to an end.
He’s got a goal and if rules are the way he has to achieve it that’s what he’ll do. Not that he’d be above bending or breaking them if he could get away with it.
And Anne’s actually adding order with her spell. So depriving her of it both protects the chaos AND follows the rules.
Chaos and Order aren’t always cut and dry, despite what Order may tell you or Chaos may believe.
When did we see them last? I don’t remember them.

you see these characters right at the start of the story. that was way back in 2014 and burried between lots of filler content, so I don’t blame you for not remembering.

If you mean by filler, you mean the MMO, then I agree with you.
I have to disagree. The MMO storyline was more interesting IMO, as the town of Tandy Gardens was being drawn in to this computer game with mysterious origins, and seemed to hint at a sinister undertone. I was hoping it would pan out to a new pandemic of magical proportions, especially since it seemed to tie in with a storyline with The Wotch: Cheer! was running before that site went dark. This new storyline path seems interesting so far, but it’s not as good as what could have been. But filler, my good sir, it was not. To each their own, I suppose! :p

The masterminds behind, these shenanigans at play,
Watch The Wotch via portal, and don’t care it’s cliché.
They glower and pose, and spout hackneyed phrases.
Neither much worried, about what eyebrows it raises.
Concerned only with their game, and hindering Anne,
These two mythical figures, move on with their plan.
To disrupt a tracking spell, they’re clearly powerful foes.
Which does not bode very well, for our fearless heroes.
Yet perhaps their undoing, will be found in their pride,
And this overblown hubris, shall see a turn of the tide.
For now we must wonder, what next lies in store,
Before waves wash away, our prints on the shore.

What happened to the artist from before the story break?
Disappeared from what I can tell. Good riddance I say, he was a little out of his league. Or her league… Anne might have Ka- Girled him
I wouldn’t call them out of their league. It’s just I think the more ‘garfield’ style fits the story better. Keep any of the TFs from becoming uncomfortable.
It’s incredibly hypocritical for Hermes and Loki to be calling Anne “Eris,” considering she’s trying to make things more orderly and they’re the tricksters of their Pantheons. Unless they’re referring to Anne being the Wotch, in which case it makes sense.
But that’s entirely fitting the whole “Gods don’t play by mortal rules” shtick the Olympian and Norse Pantheon were known for. You don’t want to get on their bad side, even if it’s not at all your fault. Just ask Marsyas the Satyr or Actaeon the hunter (and very briefly Stag). Not that being on their good side is worth much either. In general it’s best not to have their attention at all.
Wow, I put a lot into this comment. I’ve got a thing for categorization and trivia and I guess it shows.
‘Cheating’? That implies there are RULES here. And that implies there is a way to ‘win’ or to ‘lose’ here. I do hope a timeline is created separate from the main one where this becomes the natural state of the world. (from a narrative POV).
