EOiNA 9 — I sense a reluctance…

Robin and Jason never seem happy to see Miranda.
And for those that don’t remember, Cassie may have allowed something to happen that she’s not all that proud of.

Ooh, I like all of the fine lines and folds and shadow on their clothes–it makes them look even more detailed than they are.
Great to see the mouth lines fixed! I’ll also echo ijuin’s comments about the shadowing and detail. I definitely like Robin’s character look now as well.
Yes, I agree this is better than the spotted line by far.
What’s up with the new art style?
New artist.
Looking good.
I find the new art style interesting. I look forward to seeing all the old characters in this more realistic form. Then again, I liked the old style too. It added another element of humor that realistic styles can’t convey.—almost a parody of itself which made it funnier.
That’s true, but I almost feel like The Wotch has reached the stage where the plot is getting more serious, so the realistic art I think represents that pretty well.
I’m like 99% sure it’s a guest artist.
I like How detailed this artstyle looks. I can tell its going to be some cool action scenes but, the old art style is more light hearted and comical which this new style lack tbh.
I do not post often… I just wanted to express my gratitude that you were willing to pick this torch back up and run with it. I started reading part way through the slumber party chapter. This is one of the few that has survived all this time. Only about a half dozen of the 30 or so Web Comics I read at that time are still updating or came to an acceptable conclusion. Most just disappeared into obscurity. So, again, thank you for all that you do.
I have been checking for updates for so long. It’s good to see you up and running again. Real life gets in the way of writing a web comic.
The new art style is interesting a very well done. The old art style was wonderful also. Change is inevitable. I look forward to seeing regular updates. Good luck to you all.
The new art work is great, different style from the past art with I enjoyed too. The only downside is that with the new realistic art there is not doubt that it will take longer to draw so slower updates. Why must there always be a downside? Why? Looking forward to the next update.
To be fair, Miranda never seems happy to see Robin and Jason, either…
Not ever since she was turned into a kid.
I am so happy to see my favorite web-comic back again!!!! You guys rock and the art style is amazing. keep up the good work 🙂
Sorry, Robin: you must be *this* old to use a “Harumph”… 7@=Q
You missed it by this _._ much.
Yay! You guys are back! Glad to have you. And I’m digging the alternate style, it looks sharp!
Robin’s eyes in panel 2 seem to be focused in on how close Anne and Jason’s hands are from each other.
He’s looking at his watch.
Where did the Manara joke page go?
Love the new artwork…but I think it’s too “real” to support the more whimsical aspects of the strip (like “Ka-Freeze”, “Ka-change”, etc.). I’m looking forward to seeing all the familiar characters drawn in this new fashion, though.
This art style is so beautiful, like, wow! I’ve loved every style that I’ve seen in the comic so far, but like with each one, this one takes my breath away. I love it. And poor Robin. Cass is just a little upset right now, man. Girls don’t always like to talk about what they’re feeling. Give her time, bro. She’ll tell ya… sooner or later.
(lowkey agree with Jason. Did Robin swallow a thesaurus?)
Art is getting better and better, but now it is litteraly the oposite of the first style, changes are so big i’m starting to feel like i’m reading a parody. Not sure if i ever will ever get used to this one. Like, the atmocphere and emotions are so diffrent, and in a bad way.
