Anne, Robin and Jason, leave the House of Chiron,
And it is a familiar face, they soon stumble on.
Cassssie SssinClaire, seems slightly out of sorts,
A little obsessed, unlikely to henceforth wear shorts.
With her slithering, scaly and serpentine shape,
Robin’s swiftly encoiled, with no simple escape.
Clearly overcome, by some mythical psyche,
I’d guess Drakaina, Sybaris, or Lamia most likely.
Whatever the creature, in which Cassie’s heart beats,
The latest Wotch feature, had me read Poe and Keats.

Reading Poly’s poems have been a delight to me,
meter and rhyme to form a summary.
The joys of speculations and wonderment of what lay on the page
more than counterbalanced the trolls and the rage.
Although writing the Wotch for Anne does ofttimes leave me vexed,
I’m pretty sure that you will like what’s coming up next.
Oh I know what’s up next, the future I see,
All thanks to my gift, for clairvoyancey.
Predicting events , with great accuracy,
I’m top of my class, a master, in prophecy.

Does the swirly eyes mean she remembering the original reality? Or that the mental/reality change is taking full affect? (Since Cassie said ‘thank the gods’ yet is still wearing modern clothes.) Or she trying to hypnotize Robin?
Cassie was always pagan, wasn’t she, though? I remember her praying to Nemesis…

Ooh, cool… nice to see Cassie making an appearance here! Not sure about those eyes. Might be something affecting her, or it might be a sign that Robin should look away quickly. She might be a Lamia… I don’t know much about Lamia or if she had any hypnotic abilities or anything, but a quick Google search suggests that Zeus “gave her the ability to remove her eyes”, which is… possibly linked to a gift for prophecy? I really don’t know my Greek mythology. Best to just wait for the next installment to see where it goes. 🙂

I would, but then I’d have to take two Asprin (Bob, that is…) and call me in the morning.
So I think they are getting more or less possessed my the images of the being of mythology. In this case, given her eyes, I think she is medusa right now. Depending on the myth, medusa still had her beauty but was part snake, much like a lamia or naga,with snake like hair, questionable, and any that looked upon her would turn to stone. I am really versed in Greek and roman mythology, I know several versions of most every myth.
I got just one question about this: Where can I get my own snake tail? 🙂

Jason seems to have a very flexible neck I can’t get my head turned past my shoulders.
It’s possible to do–I know I can go slightly past, albeit by tipping my head to an angle.
I so hope a few of the changed people will keep their new forms

I just noticed all inbound links to old comics are now invalid. Could you add a way to redirect the old epData=yyyy-mm-dd URLs to the new ones?
Also, “title-only” prettified URLs are awful for archives. It would be good if they could include a comic ID or date…
This was caused by a crash of the old server. I had to recreate the entire archives from saved files on my computer. The old system used the date, the new system uses the symbolic name. Unfortunately, changing it would be a very long process which I currently don’t have time for. I really am sorry that this breaks links from external sources that had them set there, like the forum.
I can see why this snake was looking for a robin. Yum.
And I hope Jason eventually runs into an Argonaut.
